About Me
I am a software developer and IT professional who lives in Santa Barbara. I graduated from UCSB and did not want to leave. I work for a computer company downtown. Novacoast is an all linux IT shop that will do anything you need for your company. Its a good job and keeps me challenged and learning new things.
Activities
In my free time I love to do anything outside. I really enjoy surfing as long as there are waves. Baseball, soccer, volleyball, and tennis are all sports that I play when the sun comes out. Ping pong has recently made a resurgence back into the regular rotation of activities. The hills of Santa Barbara provide some nice hikes that I frequently enjoy.
My inside activities mainly consit of computer programming. I enjoy working on personal projects and contributing to the open source world. I am a big fan of board games and games in general. Settlers of Catan is a favorite. Everyone I have taught has gone out and bought the game, including a worker I just told about it. Horseshoes, croquet, and Hoopla are some current favorites.
